What it helps you do
It shows you the numbers and how it got them. It won't tell you what to buy, sell or switch.
Self Assessment, prepared
Capital gains with same-day, 30-day and Section 104 matching, dividends, savings interest and PAYE estimates, with every figure explained and checked.
Every bank, one view
Import statements from any UK bank (CSV, OFX or QIF). Spending by category, cash flow over any date range and regular payments spotted for you.
Investments on any platform
Trading 212, Interactive Brokers, Freetrade, Hargreaves Lansdown, AJ Bell and more. Holdings pool across platforms by ISIN for accurate gains.
Debts, and a way out
Mortgages, cards, loans, car finance and student loans. A calculator compares repayment orders so you can see how soon you could be debt-free.
Pensions and net worth
Track pension pots with projections to retirement, alongside everything else, for a net worth you can actually trust.
Ask about your own data
An optional assistant answers questions from your figures. It only reads, only sees your data, and only runs if you switch it on.
What it isn't
Being clear about this matters, so you know what you can rely on MyBucks for and where to go for the rest.
- Not a bank or payment serviceMyBucks can't move money and never holds funds. Everything it does is read-only.
- Not financial or investment adviceIt won't tell you what to buy, sell or switch. For that, use an adviser on the FCA Register.
- Not debt adviceThe debt plan is a calculator. For help with debt, free services like MoneyHelper and StepChange are there for you.
- Not your tax returnIt prepares and explains the figures; you check them and file with HMRC yourself.

Security and privacy, built in
Financial data deserves care. Here's what's in place before you add a single figure.
Your rights under UK GDPR to see, correct, export or delete your data are built into Settings and Help and support, with every request tracked to its legal deadline. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Encrypted where it matters
Your profile, tax references and connection keys are encrypted with AES-256-GCM and tied to your account. Passwords are hashed with scrypt.
Private to you
Every query is scoped to your account at the database layer. Administrators can't see your financial data.
Sessions that end
Signed out after 30 minutes of inactivity and 12 hours at most. Repeated failed sign-ins lock the account.
Everything audited
Sign-ins, data changes, exports and administrator actions are logged. You can see your own security activity in Settings.
Your data, your call
Download everything we hold as one file, or delete your account and all its data, at any time, from Settings.
